I entered Photolucida’s Critical Mass (yearly portfolio review) and didn't make the cut this year. I felt good about my work, but with 606 entries and only 180 finalists, I can see why there would be a few disappointed people. My friend Liz Kuball (also not selected this time around) put together a quick, 36-hour long, call for entry for those who didn't make it in. Over at sarahlacy.com there is a contest to win some free LOLCATS books. I don't need to enter because she is my wife and we have a book of our own (not bragging, just fact). Aside from that, I have this photo I took of our cat Vinnie, which I can uncontrollably laugh at all day long. It may not be art, but it sure is funny. On second thought, maybe it is art.
